Ok, so, I write this with a heavy heart, and I need some cheering up so if you care to respond with your thoughts I'd really appreciate it. 

The community at yourprofiles.com has grown quite a bit since I started the site about a year ago, with many great people.  I consider many of you friends and that says a lot about the community.  It's a great place to be.  Lately, people seem to be leaving for other sites faster than new people are coming here and it feels like the excitement is wearing off to an extent.  In order to save the site, I am asking anyone who reads this and cares that we keep yourprofiles alive, that you go out and recruit members more aggressively than ever before.

Currently, it costs$40 per month for the license to use phpfox at yourprofiles.com and $40 per month for hosting.  At $80 a month, it is extremely expensive for me due to my family getting nailed by the weak economy here in Michigan.  My bills are starting to pile up and I'm afraid I am going to have to either have some sort of major revelation (like all of a sudden a lot of new active people), or shut down the site.  Basically, I can't continue to lose money by keeping the site 'up'.  If lots more people come, and I can at least break even on the bills, or even come closer to breaking even, I can keep it together.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this, and for allowing me to ask for your help.  I do so reluctantly, and it means a lot if we can keep things moving forward for tomorrow.  I look forward to your comments.
