Group that includes 9 teens was on a two-week Outward Bound adventure FRESNO, Calif. - Rescue crews on Wednesday were searching the central Sierra Nevada in California for nine teenagers and two adult hikers who went missing in a rugged area of the mountains. Fresno County authorities said teens between the ages of 13 and 16 and two 30-year-old adult guides failed to meet up with a third guide as planned on Saturday. Around 1,400 homes evacuated in mountains south of San Jose

CORALLITOS, Calif. - Hundreds of people evacuated from their homes were anxiously waiting Friday to be let back into their neighborhoods while frustrated firefighters battled a fast-moving wildfire burning in a northern California mountain range.
